Once a town in which rulers lived, Cetinje has during the last few decades witnessed an abandonded and decaying industry sector. Today, the former Royal Capital is a tourist and a cultural hot spot and therefore the city seeked for a smart proposal that could accomodate touristic needs. In our approach different programs spanding from popcorn stall to kiosk and bar, can be constructed from two basic geometric elements: a flat and a curved module. Each module consists of vertical steel profiles and in between a metal panel that can be attached in accordance with its function. The result is seven temporary objects in a recognisable language that pays respect to city’s rich architectural heritage.
